This is advertised as a Young Adult book, but to me, it’s a Children’s book, so it’s hard to review. Of course it was written well, what else would you expect from a veteran writer? But the mysteries were obvious immediately and just annoyed me because it took too long for the characters to figure it out. It was difficult to get inside the heads of the protagonists, to know what they thought about everything going on around them. The secondary characters were interesting however, with their own personalities.
To be honest I didn’t really enjoy the book as I feel it was written down to a younger audience, and more for children than YA.
